Description:
Multiple delicate, pale yellow bell-shaped flowers hang from slender stems in late spring. This ephemeral occupies the understory of wet woods and partly shady woodland gardens. Spreads through underground stolons and forms loose colonies in appropriate conditions. Prefers moist well-drained soils. Fruit is a 3-sided dry capsule that offers additional ornamental interest. Wildlife Value: Pollinated by native bees who visit the flower seeking nectar.
